Hello. Sorry if that topic was already brought up, but I'd like to ask how you can make an overhead map of a single hole at the custom-made course? Sure, the overhead map DOES appear in game but it ALWAYS has a shape of oval, or something nearing that. Sometimes it even cuts the fairway away...
I thought that it might be the case that I've completed just one hole and tried to test it. Will everything go back to normal if I complete more holes? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any ideas. |

Hi... you have to add more shot points. The shot points will determine the shape of your overhead map. So for example when you have 3 shot points and you have an angle, the shape of your overhead map will have an angle aswell. |

Yes, I added four shot points on the first hole, so that they form a dogleg, but the shape is still the same. Perhaps I should first complete more holes and then everything will start to work...? |

ONe thing about doglegs, try moving the shot point that you have on the green, OFF the green to the left or right, depending on the direction of the dog leg. Example. if you have a dogleg left, then move the last shotpoint, LEFT, off the green... Try small increments and then test...
Peace and let us know.. |

Okay, thanks for replies guys. I'll try to throw these shot points around then, and we'll see what happens. |

So here I am again. I "solved" the problem in a way. Right now after I test the course I change the name of the project file and delete the Course File using Course Utilities. This is the only way in which I can change the looks of the overhead map. I can work with overhead maps only if I force the program to "forget" previous data. 8|
This bug is really strange, especially given the fact that I use perfectly fair copy of TW2005... It's like you have only one try at creating overhead map - during the first compilation. Later - it will not be updated. As if changes were locked-out... |

did you try deleting swap files somewhere in there ? so the CA redraws the internal graphics it uses?
not sure if that applies to the OH map - sure designers will chime in |
