Try deleting your swap files and compiling again. Go to C:/Program Files/EA Sports/Course Architect 06/ and delete the swap files folder.
If that doesn't work you have too many structures or trees on your course and you will have to remove some. |

Thanks Bobby. I have deleted swapfiles still made no difference. I finally got it to work. As far as having to many structures and objects, this I do not understand, I have seen courses with alot more than I have and from what I can see they did not have problems.
Thanks Again Bobby

If that didnt work I kept the camera view closed and close out the Course Architect then reopen it and compiled my course with no problem |

Almost forgot... try cloaking some libraries. The CA will crash if you have too many uncloaked at one time. |

Thanks for ALL your suggestions. Turning off Camera View seemed to help, but when I went into see how many Libs I had uncloaked, I had hundreds uncloaked, so cloaked alot of them, now to see if this fixed the issue's.
Thabnks again all.

Ok, So far I have had no problems with compiling the course. I think Bobby's suggestion of cloaking libs that are not in use was the trick. I had so many uncloaked I think that was where the problem was. So if you are having the same error try Bobby's suggestion. Cloak those libs not in use.
Thanks ALL!

Glad you got it worked out. Good one Bobby. Now, keep in mind that if you just keep the libs that you are using uncloaked, that makes for a lot less scrolling thru them while you working on your course..:) |

Yeah I don't remember the exact number but over 100 is way too many. No idea what difference it makes but throw logic out the window with the CA. I think 20-40 is good when compiling. The "Cloak Others" button works well.
Glad you got it to work! |

I like to start out with everything cloaked accept my default lib, which you can choose anyone you want, then find my custom texture set I want, then the tree lib I want, so I'm working with only a couple to start, then I will figure out my structure libs later, don't forget to design with a pano, works better imo.. |
