Only TW07 and TW08 custom panos will work for TW08, when you use older panos or stock panos they will not work in TW08. It is possible the tW07 and TW08 custom panos will not show up in Course architect or in TW06 game, but when you play the course in TW08, the pano should show up. |

Yeah it has to be an 07 or 08 pano. That one is from 03. Also make sure you compile in XP. |

you can download Boze's excellent work with compiling library (custom and pano) thumbnails - then review them in any graphics editor
they're a great help

no panos will have thumnail pics in the librarian if thats what your talking about...You need to choose a pano, angle your camera to + 5 or 10 degrees and get a preview that way.

I find panos hard to do not because I can't obtain and put together a full 360 realistic image of the course horizon but I always fail to get the sky to show up! It is quite complicated and as I have tried repeatedly to do it without success I can understand the frustrations others must experiance! Panos especially, truelly authentic ones can have a massive effect on the realism of a course tho tbh most folk here wouldn't really know realism or a realistic course iff it smacked them in the face! Thanks,i`am not trying to create a Pano I`am just trying to get one of those that is listed in my Architect Librarian to work. I have very little experience , but soon realised that the Pano is a Major feature as a back-drop to blend in with and enhance the course features we are trying to create.

Sorry Argon I don't mean to overkill your post, but Ive always found the pano tutorial hard to implement and dificult to work with iff unless you really know your salt in these things! Which of course I don't and despite putting some stunning authentic and realistic images together I always fail to get the sky to show and have always had to rely on the good will of others to finish the job for me iff they can spare the time! |

Use this pano:
Cascades Pano- http://www.coursedownloads.net/coursesource/library.asp?id=1579&site=1
It won't show in CA but will in game. It's nearly the same as High Mountain. |

not sure i understand the issue - i dont use the librarian for panos
just go to menu bar and click on tools, panorama properties, then select the pano library from the list of the ones you have installed in tw06 ?
then after compiling, transfer the tcr to 08 and install then open the course to see the course and pano in the game ? |
