| I am rather confused by the release of a CGX course on this site. We were told that they have all been pulled, which caused a lot of consternation among many members of this site, and now one has been released. Are we now to presume that all the courses that were pulled will be re-instated??? |

I have no info about that, maybe JSJarvis will have more info, but i don t think the other courses will be reuploaded.
Anyway we are happy the course was uploaded to coursedownloads by CGX. |

Hi guys,
I can probably answer this question as well as anyone on the CGX staff and Im happy to do so hoping that we all as an overall community can try to live side by side and in some way coexist along side eachother without any further discord!
I understand that however we try and fail to bring parity amongst ourselves and certain circumstances we will always as people disagree and may choose to go seperate ways, I would however like to say that as a designer who works closely with all of the very dedicated staff at CGX we are releasing Royal Portrush Valley links and shortly the Dunluce and par3 course at CDL in good faith and with good will and hope that all who still enjoy TW08 can enjoy the courses for what they are C:
We released the Portrush courses as next year the CGX Irish Open will be at Carlton House so we decided that considering it would go to seed we would let all the fellows still playing tW08 enjoy the courses with good intent and enjoy their subtle depths!. C:
As courses fall off the main CGX tours we will from time to time release certain courses at Course Downloads so they may be enjoyed by all the CDL members,thankyou and enjoy the golf! C: |

At some point Im sure some other courses will be uploaded. As we release two 2 pin versions of each course at CGX to ensure everyone gets the same pins it requires we add additional pins for a CDL course release and then test them again which requires some additional work and we are fairly busy most of the time but I am hopeful that more courses are forthcoming. C:
ps: just making a few improvements to the Dunluce links based on the tv footage and testing the pins, should be uploaded in a day or 2or3. C: |
