I have been trying to apply the waterfall texture to some fountains on the new course I am designing. After lots of trial and error I have managed to get them working and I discovered something that I was not aware of before. If you apply the waterfall features to your course plot, then compile the course without a course perimeter, they are near enough to where you want them, although the co-ordinates do not seem to work 100 per cent accurately. I found that I could adjust the waterfall splash or the actual fountain object until the two were together and worked OK, in all the places that I wanted them to work. However when I then set a course perimeter and compiled the course the waterfall features were mainly useless, probably because applying the course perimeter then required the co-ordinates to be changed. I can only presume that these waterfall features should either be set after you have applied the course perimeter or can be appled to the plot if you do not require a course perimeter. I hope this makes sense to other designers. My apologies if other designers were already aware of this and for boring any other readers of this item, who are not course designers . . .
