Using CA for TW2006. Almost done. Test playing course. There are 2 par 5s at the "top" of the course in CA. When I play them the rough appears to look like fog, or water, and has a mirror like appearance. Its a blue gray color, which I also see on the outside edges of the course, which is very hilly. Fairway shows up fine but appear to be floating. The mirror/fog is between the fairway and trees. I've attached a screen shot. Any ideas how to fix or what causes this? |

This is called transparent textures and is caused by that particular texture having too high a points count. If any individual texture goes higher than 65,00 points you will either have to optimize it or use several different textures to reduce the points count. |

The texture that appears this way has 40449 points Architect deep rough), so its not over 65,000. Might this still be the problem? Attached is an overhead of the hole with the issue, as well as the overall course properties. |

Hi...
The attachement is not working, good idea to add the docx in a zipfile, when it is in a zipfile, it will work. |

OK, here is zipfile. I changed panos from Edgewood to Example pano, and issue improved slightly. Now the mirror/water appears more of a tan color. |

Yes the attachment is working now. I am not a coursedesign specialist, but i see a problem:
Total point on the course: 194,256 points is much to high. You must do a lot more smoothing and optimizing . Watch max point counts on the entire course about 120,000 points. |

Have you checked all the other textures as well? What are all those objects, 35659 is very high. |
