At one time, I designed around 15 courses that were played in the game PGA Championship Golf. I have been told that another designer that used to design for the same game (Whiffle56) was able to bring some of his old designs from that game into TW 2008. If that's true, I would like to try and bring some of mine also into TW 2008. Can anyone tell me how I might go about doing that? If not, is there a way that I can contact Whiffle 56?

Hiya Swat....
I believe it was possible to import courses from another game in TW2001, but i am afraid it is not possible to do that in TW08.

You can try to send a message to Whiffle56 here, but the last time he was online is 8 months ago, so not sure he will respond.
Go to : Messenger......New message..and do a search for: Whiffle......when you found him hit: Add
Now go to: New message......and in list you should find his name now.

Am I right in thinking that Headgate Studios were involved in the development of both these games. I know that a Courseutilities (Headgate Studios) was incorporated with Tiger Woods PGA Tour up until TW2007. Just wondering if there might be major similarities in both game architects?

Back when TW2002 and 2003 came out, there was a utility built into the Course Utilities program that allowed for the import of older TW99/2k1 courses as well as PGA Championship courses. The problem is that the conversions were not good at all. It was a feature that was not implemented well and was removed from the game by the time TW2004 came out. Instead of spending a lot of time trying to find a way to import these older courses into a much newer game, I would recommend looking at recreating the courses.

Well, thanks all for your input. I guess the best thing to do is start over again. Now do I need to install TW2006 and use that C A? Is there a tutorial that will guide me through the process of what to do after I am done with a course and how to transfer it to TW2008?
