Hiya Mike....

You can t change the ball in gameface ?

When you can t change the ball in gameface, i know how you can change the color from blue to a white ball:

When you are using Win7 on desktop go to: User.....documents...Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08.....Golfball

(; Or: C:\Users\User\Documents\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Golfball )

When you are using XP on desktop go to: My documents.....Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08.....Golfball

Now inside folder Golfball you will see a file: 1087.dds

Replace this file with the one i attached in the zipfile.....(; now you will see the white Callaway golfball in the game )

Note: You will still have the properties of the precept 0, blue ball, only the ball view and color will be changed.

Note: maybe good idea to take back up of the original 1087.dds file first.

Mike, have you tried to delete the golfball in the folder gunpower indicates.. i'm sure if you need to replace it, it would be no more difficult than installing a custom ball.. not sure if this helps.. I hope so gl ed

Mike, this will help you identify the ball in the folder. http://www.nvidia.com/object/windows_texture_viewer.html
I think you'll find that the 1087.dds ball is the issue. again gl

Thanks Gun and Ed. The zip file you put in worked. But it's still the "ladys ball". LOL When I switch balls in game face it stays the same. I just redid my profile in game face, didnt take that long, just a pain to do. And that fixed it. I have always had this problem when I reinstall 08. But I now have my XP running again. Had to put in a new power supply. I dont really have anything against windows 7, except it's a pain when building courses.
Thanks again.
