I have been having yardage issues when I am testing my course . Sometimes the yardages are correct and at others they are totally wacked. I sometimes have a opening par 4 that will be 989 yards and the flag is on a totally different hole, when that happens I reboot the game and it usually corrects it. Is it a CPU problem or is it a corrupt file? My PC is having other issues so I am leaning toward the CPU problem.
Thanks Steve |

Hiya Steve...
Not sure what the problem is, but maybe good idea to check you have no flags outside or on the edge of the the green. Maybe one of the pin positions is not on the green. When you start a game you can have random pin positions, and when one of them is not correct it is possible you have wrong yardage. Also check your shot paths, the shot paths to the pins will determine the yardage. |

You have some pin positions on wrong holes. Check the hole definition tool. |

I did check all the hole definitions and they are correct. This doesn't happen every time I load the course, that is what is frustrating. I figured out when the yardage is wrong it is that the game is using another green(like you said Bobby). I am having issues with 2 holes right now, when Hole #1 is wrong (using hole #3 green) this makes hole #11 correct. When hole# 1 is right it makes hole#11 wrong(using hole # 10 green). I guess I will try to reset all the hole definitions to see if that works. Thanks again for the suggestions.

steve,
check each hole in hole def tool and look at every green or spot where you had a green...if you deleted a green that had pins set, the pins will be in the rough somewhere.
thats got to be the problem man....the reason it ddoesn't happen every time is cause it doesn't always pick that lost pin.

Thanks guy's, you were all correct on the pin issue. Thanks to axe360 for finding what I couldn't. I had 8 pin positions for 2 of my holes causing the problem. Thanks again. |
