| Only way to create courses for TW08 is with the Course Architect. Since an 08 CA wasn't created, courses are still being made using the last available version from TW2006. To use it, you must own the TW2006 game and have it and the TW2006 CA installed. Sorry, but there is no other way. |

I may not know to much and I'm not trying to start an argument but I think the CA does pretty darn good..
I have seen some of what the Unity3d designer can do and it is pretty amazing, but you cant design for TWO, so that's no help... |

| Doubtful. TW08 is going on 4 years old and did not have a CA when it came out. The last 2 years of the TW series did not have a CA, so it was clear then that EA didnt want custom courses created for those games. But the TW community found a way around this. EA has since cancelled production of CD/DVD versions of the TW series and is only going to be concentrating on the browser based TW game, TW Online. And the time & effort that would be required to create a custom CA by the community just does not make it worthwhile. Just looking at some of the masterful designs that continue to come out, I would say the 06 CA still does a great job. It is not perfect, nor would I say that it is the easiest thing to use, but it still does the job. |
