Need a little help! I have finished the front nine and all is well, but now I am continueing on the back 9 and when I try to make shapes the grid area blanks out, not the grid itself but all the elevations and the camera view goes screwy. It turns the same colour as the area surrounding the grid. Any ideas as to what I have done???????? |

Woofer it may be an optimization problem. Try optimizing the background texture, when the points count gets too high it can cause this problem. Optimizing has solved similar problems for me. You may need to create several buffer textures if you are doing lots of complex things on the course, then each texture can go up to approx 65,000 points max. Homeboy's Course Design Tips is a useful download from the site if you have not yet read it. |

And after you fix that, you may want to add some height and width to your course, those holes look pretty close to the edge of the plot, which will leave a big gap between your pano and the plot and it will cause areas of your overhead hole map to turn black.. Your lucky because you can only heighten and widen the top and the right side of the plot.. Lucky dawg there..:)
You can heighten and widen the plot by cliking on File (;when the CA is open) and clicking on properties and changing it their, always save a backup first in case you dont like it and need further adjustments.
I recommend at least giving yourself 200yd, I like 300yds myself..
Peace |
