| really hoping someone might be able to help me..i made a course called crossroads G.C. and had it put online..some people said they had to uninstall it and reinstall it to get it to work while others had no problem with it at all, played all 18 holes with no glitch..i asked and was told that with the course name ending with a period that it might be the problem so i went into the tca file in CA under course properties and changed the name to just crossroads and had them put it back online..some people that said they could't play it before had no problem this time with it and played well, while others said when they went to play it that it kicked them back to desk top while loading the course..one person said that it even kicked him back to re hit after going for the green on number 9..the only thing i did differently on this course than any other one i made was to end the name of the course with a period and that the 9th fairway and 18 fairway cross but dont touch each other but the shot paths do cross..still doesnt explian while some can play with no problem while others do..before i just scrap the whole thing i thought i would post this and see if anyone had any ideas before i kill it..thanks for any ideas, thekid1435 |

I still had trouble both times. Your other courses worked fine. Since you changed the name by taking out the period than it leaves only the other two things you have done diferently.
The cartpaths and fairway crossing. If there is a way to fix that without a large redesign than that might do it. It would be nice if you could salvage the effort you have already expended. Goodluck. |
