i have the completed course file (tcr) for a course i made but by mistake i deleted the (tca) one..is there anyway to get it back from the (tcr)file and if so how can i do this..thks thekid |

No. Once it is compiled into TCR format there is no way to uncompile it back to TCA. |

There may be a chance you have a backup copy in your temp files or it may still be in the recycle bin...as a last resort, you could try a system restore in windows but I am unsure if a deleted file would be recovered. However if none of these work, then I am afraid it will be back to the drawing board.
I would always recommend saving a full backup copy after each design session or before each compile. that way, if you make a mistake which cant be rectified in the ca (;ie: warping) or you accidentally delete the tca as in this case, you will always have a backup to work from. |

The file should still be on your hard drive, use one of these free file recovery programs to try and get it back. Recuva, the best, Glary Undelete, Soft Perfect Recovery, or Restoration. Run the program from another drive or flash drive if you can. Files stay on a hard drive until they are over written by the computer unless you delete them with a secure delete program.
