With the tutorial on using Geobase to obtain Canadian dems, there was a file, CDC.exe, which could be used to convert the dem data for use in TA. Is there a way to obtain this file?

You shouldn't need to convert anything. Please post a link to the tutorial, please, and I will have a look.

As an alternative, you can get SRTM data for anywhere in the world, which does not have to be converted at -

It is a tutorial done by CJB. I have a hard copy of it, but couldnot find a link to the tutorial here. Per the tutorial, the dem data from Geobase had varying grid spacing so was not directly compatible with TA. The CDC.exe converted thedata to a formatthatthe TA could use.
