I'm working on my first real course using TA and already I'm running into a problem. The overhead image is great with good resolution, but when I try to draw the shapes in TA, it's very poor resolution. Kept dinking with it a few times, and then all of a sudden the image was sharp. Traced and exported a few holes, left TA, then loaded it again the next day and it's again low resolution! Anyone have any idea why this is happening, and how to correct it? I have the resolution listed as 10-meter; obviously switching to the others makes it even worse. I'm a little stumped at the moment.

For example, here's the first hole when looking at the image in a viewer:
Nice and crisp. But then in TA:
Blurry as hell.

What is the actual size of your image? I use a program called MW Snap to create my screen shots from Google Earth. Make sure the terrain option is turned off and then I use the path tool to draw a line on all four sides of the area I want to use. Then I get to somewhere between 1500 and 2000 feet above the course in Google Earth and then I start creating screens. Some courses may have as few as 12 screens while others could be as many as 45. I then use Photoshop (Paint Shop Pro or Gimp will also work) to stitch them all together. Then when done I crop to the lines that I drew and resized the image down to around 4000 pixels in the largest direction. That way you get the clearest image possible when zoomed in close.
I hope that answers your question. If you need help, I can get you an image that way if you tell me the exact coordinates.

The image is plenty big enough. The actual size is 4320x3261. I don't think it's the image, but even if it were, the Google Earth method would not work because the course goes through two different resolution areas, plus the images that cover the area are not aligned very well.
Now, here's the weird thing: I went to play a game that uses different video settings (I can explain this if you would like) and afterward just decided to take a look in TA again, and this time the image is crystal clear! I just don't get it, but at least I may have an idea of how to correct it if it happens again.
