| I'm a bit bemused by placing shot paths..I placed them down on a dogleg hole so the AI players would play around the big trees and then to the green, but they ignore the shot path that would place them in a favourable position and they try and blast the ball through the trees! secondly, I was wondering if there was a way to have different AI players use different tees..If I set the tee at Pro for example and have three AI players at novice, Intermediate and advanced they all fire from the same tee.. |

I have no Idea if the AI even follows the shot paths?? If they do, Id see no way they wouldnt end up hitting into the trees on every dogleg hole no matter how you set the shot paths.
Use the shot paths for setting the par on a hole and making sure your overhead map is visible.
If your setting red/white/blue tees, id guess that the game just defaults to the tees your player is set at.

In my experience, the AIs usually follow the shot points. In fact, sometimes it becomes a problem with them hitting short irons off the tees. Maybe you are placing too many points. I never use more than three before getting to the green. And remember, your last shot point does not have to be on the green. It can be 200 yards back if necessary. The AIs will follow all shot points except for the one to the green. I have place my final shot point in the rough out to the right of the green maybe 100 yards in order to get the overhead to show correctly. But in those cases if the shot is in range for the AI, it will shoot at the pin. But experiment with it to get it the way that works best for you.
