217? Have you tried the sticky removal feature? I didn't think St. Andrews had 217 textures - unless it is for one of the structures. I'll bet that is what it is.

Try this, find the long lib number and try this..

Right click on the start button and select RUN
Type regedit and hit ENTER or OK

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Sports\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Libraries

There you should see a list of every lib you have installed.. Then just clik on the long number and over to the right it should tell you what lib it is..

Hope it helps..
Axeman..

Larry, I think he knows which library it is, but he needs to find the particular texture (texture 217) in that particular library. Maybe reinstall the library - is there a reason you do not want St. Andy's library in there?

It's not a big deal if I can't get rid of it....I'm just anal when it comes to that kind of crap.....I changed textures half way through the F9 and I thought i'd changed out all the St andy's....I bet I did and something is just amiss.

There's always something nutty going down with the that blasted CA....

I'll post if I figure it out.

Thanks for the help as always kind folks.

Maybe this will help..

Start with the first texture in that lib and make a little shape with that texture, drop it, now change that shape/texture to a very bright one the Architect is good and if there are any more of that texture it will show up..
If that dont work for that one, delete and go to the next.. I have done this before, because I too, hate it when Im not in complete control of my libs.. damn things lol...

Or else I have lost my mind and its been so long I have no idea what Im talking about? Lol..

Good luck

Good call Axe...thats what I did orginally but couldn't find it. I guess I didn't do my bunker lips....which was the culpret.

Jimbo over at PGAX told me it was probably a hidden texture which is why the # was coming up as 217...

I guess I just needed to look a little harder...

thanks

I cloak the library. If when you open the tca the ca crashes, you know its a structure.

If you get a warning message and the tca opens, the game will replace the texture with a placeholder, which usually is a bright color. If it is not obvious, zoom in and look at each hole closely.

If you want to know how to detect a tree, I can tell you that too.
