I have been working on a real course in England and am close to being finished. I was wondering if anyone has any requests for real courses that have not yet been done. I would prefer to do something in the U.S. mainly because there is better elevation data available as well as supporting information to line up the elevation model more accurately. However, I am open to anything, especially if there is a web site with a lot of info on each particular hole.
Thanks,
Steve |

Unfortunately, as much as I really want to do a Hawaiian course, there is actually very little dem data available for those areas. I would also like to have done that course. Sorry.
I guess I should have stated a course in the continental U.S. |

Champions Golf Club - Cypress Creek Course. It use to alternate hosting the tour championship with East Lake. It also host the Ryder Cup in 1967 and the U.S. Open in 1969. I would love to see this one done, but I'm not sure how much info is available. |

I know there were several who wanted Atlanta Highlands which is being used for the PGA Championship next year but was only done for TW2005 and has the pin problem in TW2006 & TW2007. I'm sure which ever courses you undertake will be outstanding as always....

I would also like to see the Highlands course at the Atlanta Athletic Club redone. I have thrown it out there as a suggestion from time to time myself. |

Thanks for the suggestions - I am thinking of doing a local course here in the Portland area, an American links style course, which is a terrific one to play. It is called Langdon Farms Golf Club.

Steve, there is a golf complex here in Virginia called Meadow Farms. It is a 28 hole complex, yes I said 28 holes. they have a warmup hole. the course is unique in that it boasts the longest hole in the USA. 841 yards par 6. it also features an island green hole, a waterfall hole and several holes that feature church pew bunkers ala Oakmont. it is always in fantastic condition and green fees are very reasonable. there is a website it you want to check it out. meadow farms golf.com. thank you for any consideration you may give to this request. |

Hi Steve,
Did I hear "elevation" and do I read "challenge"??
In that case youi might consider The Prince Course at Princeville. It was a joy (if somewhat laggy) of a course to play as a stock 2004 course, but I believe it has never been replicated using the 06 CA.
Cheers,
Davy |

Davy, sorry but Hawaiian courses are out - there is just not enough data for me to get it accurate enough. There is dem data but no 24k drg and I really need the drg to help line the course up correctly. |

That is a pretty nice looking course. However, for some reason the most recent sat photos at Google Earth do not show the layout. The sat photo from 2009 does, but for me to be able to draw the holes accurately, I need the newest photo to show the layout. It has to do with getting the layout lined up correctly with the terrain. Weird thing, that is! |

It is strange Steve, the newest pic seems to be the same as the 2004 pic, but the 2009 and 2006 pics show the course. |

Howdy Steve -
Dunno if you are still interested in this, but if so, I'd like to see the championship course found at the Port Ludlow Resort in Port Ludlow, WA done. It opened in 1975 and was designed by Robert Muir Graves.
I've been working on a fantasy course based on it, but don't have the time or expertise right now to do it as a real course.
Course info can be found at:
http://www.portludlowresort.com/golf/
There some layout graphics and Google Earth shows the layout pretty well; current as of June of this year.
Thanks!:-) |

Hello Steve
Would you be interested in making my local course,Essendon in the UK for TW08.It has two courses. I walk through it regularly as i live on the boundery of the second hole on the new course.I would love to be able to play this in TW and i am sure many others would to.
The club started life as Hatfield London Golf Club back in the 1970s.In the eighties the new coure was built by the then new owners of the london country golf club a japanese consortium who sold it in December 2011 to the Griffin brothers, Kieran and Liam and it continues to thrive to this day.
The Old course was designed by Fred Hawtree from the famous Hawtree dynasty and was opened back in 1976.
The New course is unique and more than a little quirky, in that it has two greens on 16 of its holes.
I dont know if this post is still active . I was searching CourseDownloads for any info as to how to get someone to make the course and found your post. Here is hoping you will help.
Kind regards Tom
