You did as good a job as I have seen (and is posible with the CA)on the bunkers on Moray Golf Club. Do you care to share your technique?

Thanks...Bill

I could not agree with you more Bill.I have posted on Rons bunker work before..Some of the best I have seen..This may be a technique that just comes with a lot of practice..trial and error..But I always study his courses to find new and improved methods using the architect!

Thanks Bill and Chad for the kind comments on my bunker work, Its like Chad said, a technique that just comes with a lot of practice..trial and error to get the bunkers to look good and play like pot bunkers. I used larry86's straight faced bunkers tutorial, which is very good
on the technique to use. Thanks Larry for your time you put on this tutorial.

A tip or two, always make the side of the bunker toward the green higher to get your lip to form right. The dirt texture you choose helps to make them look better also.
You put the camera inside the bunker to check the look and for errors in the bunker while
you make them. Sometimes you have to remake the bunker to get them right.

I like to see the work of other designers and the way they layout a course and work a course. Always can learn from the work of others. Hope this helps you some, the Ca is a good tool but it could be better. These courses are fun to make, but they are hard to get the look and play you want.

Always look forward to your courses that you design, and the courses of the community.
Keep up your good work and keep the hobby and community viable.

regards,

Ron
