been rolling along on my course, now all of a sudden on the 14th, the 2 shape tool doesnt want to sink my bunkers anymore. Deleted swap files, and recreated bunker and still not working. Anyone had this occur before?

I get this on almost every course I design. I wish I could tell you why but I do not know. Usually I end up flattening to contour, smooth the hell out of it and then try using slightly different shapes than the originals. Sometime even that does not work out. In those cases, I flatten everything around the trouble area. Then draw a very small 3 point triangle inside the new flat area. Try raising that small triangle by 10 feet. Does this new small area grow? If it does, then you can usually smooth over everything, optimize and then you get a workable area.
But sometimes, I can't get it to be usable no matter what. So good luck.
If anyone else has better thoughts, I would like to hear them as well.

| Ive had this happen a lot, but ive always got it to drop, it seems to happen when the bunker is next to a green or pond, ive picked up the bunker shape and moved it slightly and re-drop, and also change the shape of the bunker, if that dont work, i will get on with the next hole and when im done, go back to the problem bunker, and it drops. Not sure why this happens but it can be worked out. Good luck |
