Since the USGS Seamless site no longer offers these, does anyone know of another site to get from? SRTM would be just fine. When I search, I come up with bits here and there, but no site that I can find (for free) that offers up much.

If you haven't found any already the best for Non-USA SRTM seems to be here: http://dds.cr.usgs.gov/srtm/

That's SRTM3 for Non-US which gives 90m spots so not the best for terrain over the very basic ground lay.
