I'm sorry if this has been posted already, but I searched and couldn't find anything but 2007 into 2008.
So, is it possible to add the 2005 courses into 2008?? I am dying to play the Troon North Monument course, but there is no custom course to download.
Thanks, Jason |

Stahj76 If you have the TW2005 cds you can get the file for this course from the 3rd cd. Copy the course to your desktop then use TWcaddie08 to install the course. I have just tried doing this and it installed and played OK. Good luck |

Stahj76 After seeing Pat's comment I went back and played the full 18 holes, it played very smoothly. It took me back to many happy times playing TW2005 and was a real surprise to me how well it looked and worked. One additional problem you may have is with the libraries, I have all the TW2008 libraries installed and then more for 2007 courses that I have put into 2008. Hope you get it working. |

Pat I disagree. I have played 2005 courses that work just fine. It won't hurt your system to try. Just install them the same way as any other course. |

Thanks for the replies. I will try the suggestions this weekend, once I can find my 2005 disks and post back with my results. |

Thanks guys!!!! I got a few courses from 2005 installed flawlessly. I just installed the libraries from the CD and the course itself and it works great. |

I am glad that you got them to work Stahj76. I've made splash screens, logos and flags for the following TW2005 courses, Edgewood at Lake Tahoe, Emerald Dragon, Red Mountain Creek, Sherwood Country Club, The Links at Fancourt, Troon North the Monument Course and Turnberry. If you would like a copy of them send me a PM with your email address and I can send them to you with advice on how to install them, if you are not sure how to do it. Best regards, Jimbo63. |
