Anyone know the quick command to double the point count of an object?

Not sure about objects,but for shapes I pull the cursor down and across to cover all the points but one or two...then hit edit/duplicate..try hitting edit/select all/objects

Actually, thats why Im doing it...I had some big grass areas I copied from the TA that are so blocky im trying to round them off a bit...

I suppose there is, but I don't think you need to worry about it. Just make sure to repair after to make sure. Also, try to optimize. If you have too many breaklines, you won't be allowed to optimize. That is a good test.
