hi all:

Has anyone ever wanted to make a real course, have the picture laid out on Google, then go to the seamless server only to have the picture in 2 or 3 sections? Is it possible to make these work? I tried it with 2 and it put the holes out on the extreme edge of the CA. Dont know if its possible to do or not. Would really love to do a course I used to play in PGA and cant get it in one picture...DANG IT!!!!!!!.. Thanks for any help.

Yes i have, Did you set max download to 250megs? Only thing you can do as far as I know is crop it closer to the top right corner then increase the plot size after you get things set up with the TA....

I think he was referring to the TA tool, which matches up the pics to the CA automatically.

Deleting swap files and cloaking libraries should do the trick.

Mark
If you use Windows XP try this Microsoft website http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308417
How to set performance options in Windows XP. I had the same problem as you but I can't remember if increasing my computers virtual memory cured it or if un-installing then re-installing the relevant architect softwares cured it. Hope you solve your problem.

thanks for the info Jimbo. The windows thing didnt work, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the Architect. It also failed. Then I got to looking, and its a bit embarrassing, the TA told me to set the dimensions to 2540W and 3100H. I had it set for 2450W and 3100H. Just putting in the right measurements can save a lot of headaches guys. Sorry for all the brain bashing but mine is like mashed potatoes now. Thank you all for the help given here. This is the best forum I've ever been involved with for sure.

I have a way to get the Google Earth image in one shot, cropped to the Dem.No stiching involved.

Anyone interested in me making a tutorial on how to do this?

A tutorial would be very useful. Would this also work for European courses?
