Can someone please refresh me on how to set up a custom pano for TW08; what is the thing with the elevation that has to be adjusted? My project is a simple 360 degree ocean horizon. I have followed McBruce's tut to a T, but I realize it pre-dates the 07/08 games.
I'm working on an island course, and I have had trouble finding and ocean texture and pano to match, so I am making my own, or trying to.

I did, but for some reason the ocean texture does not match the pano very well. I've kinda been looking for an excuse to create a pano anyway. A 360 ocean seems like a good place to start to get the basics figured out. |

I would make a pano without moving the setting, load that pano into the game to see
how it looks. It may look the way you want it to look. It may be low or could be high, you change the height of your pano in the game with the height switch. The other setting switch sets different views on the holes of your course by the pano in the game. You have to play around with these until you get your pano to look right for your course. Sometimes easy and other times hard to get a pano to look right. To make a gook pano takes some work, so don't give up, good panos are not easy to make. I have made quite a few, but many do not turn out good. You just have to keep making them to get good at pano design.
