Anyone ever have ruler problems in the CA when using Terrain Assist. Mine won't measure unless I'm zoomed way out which makes green work real tough.
Thanks |

Never seen that. Are you sure it is caused by TA? Have you tried on a new plot to see if the problem is isolated to your other course? Possibly a problem related to the CA itself which a reinstall might help? Just ideas. Hope you get it straight. |

Ya....only courses that I imported with the TA....I've only tried 2, but it's happened on both of them.
I can pull the ruler across a fairway 10 yards and it will stay at 0 elevation till it hits 10 yards then it reads 42" all a sudden....
if I zoom out 4 or 5 clicks then it reads each inch.
wierd, but not surprising with the CA....: /

Oh, sorry, I misread your statement. Yeah, I see this all the time. It reads the length okay, but for elevation changes it will stay at zero and then change all of a sudden to 15 inches, or whatever it is at that time. I see that all the time. The only thing I do in that situation is just move the pointer to the position without using the ruler. Then it shows the elevation on the lower right of the screen. I think I have had this happen on courses used without TA as well, but now I am not so sure - lol. Sorry about the misunderstanding. It is a bit more work to have to figure it out without the ruler, but you get used to it fairly quick. Maybe that's why I didn't understand at first. Yeah, that's it - lol. |

Now I got to get back to workin on it.
