I am going to put together a new library of clubhouses and other buildings. So far I have 4 or 5 clubhouse designs for the library. I have started the first one which is shown here. I would like input from other designers as to what other types of buildings they would like included, were they to use the library in the future. Also, if you have a link to a pic of something, send me that as well. I can do a fair amount of detail, but nothing crazily elaborate - lol. For example, the pic here is very low poly count, but quite a large structure. Please understand that this pic shows only the shapes of the objects themselves and the surface textures will be added as I can get them made. Any comments are also welcome from all.

Those look like they would be pretty sweet, and that one would make a cool club house. I seen one of you libs this last week that had a building I want to used on a course in future. I had fun this last week looking at all the libs made for this game, it was fun looking them up on this site. I doubt I get to learn how to make these cool things anytime soon, so all thanks to all those lib makers who do.....

I'm not even sure (he says, slightly embarrassed) I just did a Google search of clubhouse images. Did not look where they were from - Doh! I will also be including smaller buildings, such as snack huts, restrooms and others as well as things like in the below pic. The one on the bottom is a drainage area. We had these a lot in southern California.

why would you need a drainage area? After all "it never rains in Southern California"

I live just outside Portland, Oregon now, but I spent almost 32 years in the L.A. area.

I decided to add a few more things as well. Here are some golf carts I made. MAN! It is impossible to keep the poly counts low on these things, but I think they will be okay if the designer only uses one or two at a time in one area. We shall see - lol.

Well, I had a hard drive crash and lost everything - I think - lol. I am hoping I backed them up somewhere - but so far if I did I can't find them. Well, I think I will wait until I see what happens with Tiger Woods Online before I venture forth again with structures. If TWO has a course designer I will build for it. If not, then I guess I will build again for TW08. They are going to have an open beta next month I think. That will tell a lot, I think. Hopefully, anyway.

I know you said buildings but I have a request for the future.. I absolutely love Judds Walls n Stuff rocks. those are the best looking rocks I have ever seen for this game, however you have to have the shader on Low to see them. I know you now make libs with the new lighting technique, so if you make anymore, could you do some rocks like those?
Only thing I can offer in return is help in testing. But of course, you know I will do that regardless of whether or not you make a lib..:))

Axe..

the 3d structure machine for me is pretty much shut down for the time being until we find what the future holds for the game. Besides, no when I use the modded Library Creator I can't get the structures to work in the game. They show up in the librarian, but when you drop onto the plot, they are not there. Not just invisible, but not even there. Not sure what the problem is. For my last structure for Boze, I had to use the 06 LC for a clubhouse. At least that will look usable in the game even with the lighting issues.

Steve before you compile the library, you need to click each of the tabs in the LC02. it is a wierd quirk but that is what cures the structures not showing on the course in the ca.

Thanks Jim, I did that, or at least I think I did - lol. I will give it another go and see if maybe I missed something. If all else fails, I will uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps.

Thanks again!

Okay, I get it - lol. I was clicking on all the tabs inside the edit dialog but not the tabs across the top. Did that and now it is back to normal. Jim is the MAN!
