Most (if not all) PGAX courses require that you play from the Pro tees. Otherwise, you are playing from phantom tee boxes which usually end up being rough.
One REALLY stupid question:
Where in the game (Tiger Woods 08) are you able to select which tees you play from???
I've looked everywhere!
I've even changed my ability level from Novice to Advanced thinking that would solve the problem, but that didn't work either.
Any help someone can provide would be much appreciated.

Hi,
On the screen where you select the course and options for the conditions that you want to play in, there is an option at the bottom for selecting tees. From memory it is to the bottom right of the screen.

Thanks guys.
I'll double check, but I don't remember seeing the pin placement and tee box location options in my version of Tiger Wood's 08. I'm pretty sure I would've seen it, but I'm going to check again.
That first screenshot is very similar to what I see. Where does that 2nd screen shot come from? I'd never seen that before on TW08.

Firestone is a special CDT version with all 4 tees playable (I hope). I didn't test them.

Found it! I was overlooking the options area in Course Settings.
Off topic, TW08 for PC isn't that great of a game. The menu interface is confusing and you can't control the spin of your shot.
The ONLY thing that makes the game great is the ability to download courses from this site.

| I think the PC version is much more realistic than the console versions (mainly because of the spin, although I think the way the ball spins isn't perfect) but both are fun to play. And you are right in saying that downloading courses is the ultimate trump card. |
