Moved from Tutorials/FAQs forum to The Course Source forum |

I've been playing around with a little course design and think I kind of have a handle on CA. My question is, how do I import libraries into CA? I actually have completed a course using just the libraries provided in CA but I would like to use a different pano than the ones offered by CA. I did search thru the forum and for the life of me can't seem to find anything on the subject. Any help would be appreciated and in simple terms please!! LOL. |

Install the libraries into TW06 using either the Course Utilities or CLSetup and they will appear in the CA. You will also want the CLTool to cloak libraries. |

Also, to find a pano, go to the Libraries section, select the year of the game you want and every pano is named. Example: Augusta pano.
Do like Bobby says to install it, open the CA/clik on Tools/then panoramic properties/ select your pano, but remember you usually have to do something in the architect to make the pano selection take. Like move a tree, or turn the camera on then move it. Then compile the course and install it. Should work fine. |

Also, keep in mind that if you want to create a course to play in TW08, you must use at least 1 stock library from an 08 course for it to work in the 08 game. |

if its for 08TW, only use 07/08 panos earlier ones will not appear in the game as the horizon changed
08 stock Libraries - at least one needed for the course to be considered an 08 course - the use of at least one stock library determines the TW0x affiliation it would still play in other versions but would be listed here based on the latest stock library used |

jb, the course I am working on right now has 9 holes complete so far. I haven't used any stock libs from 08 and it seams to play okay in 08. I have played it in practice mode and also in custom game mode with no ill effects. So far, I've only used the libs that are available in CA and it plays in the modes I've mentioned. So, do I still need to use a stock 08 lib? Thanks for the info!! |

Heres on way of installing the 08 libraries into 06. Go to the 08 course folder and look for the courses named with capital abbreviations like BOS, COG, DOR etc. which are the 08 stock courses. From those folders copy and save to the desktop each of the .tcl files. Then zip up each file and install them into the 06 game using the CLSetUP06 tool like installing any other libraries in TW06 game. |
