A close friend of mine has asked me to attempt this Swiss course. He used to play it on an old Sega Genesis and said it was a lot of fun. Seems like that is all the information I need - lol. Or maybe not.
I have found the site online and in Google Earth but i am hoping for someone with local knowledge or even someone who can point me to a site or sites where I can get more information. This tournament is not broadcast over here in the states (or at least I don't think it is) so other than some low res pics from some web sites I don't have a lot to go on. Even the course layout will take some research to figure out because it is a 27 hole layout and I have to determine which 18 are used in the tourney.
So I am asking for any and all help from anyone who can lend a hand. I will do the course, one way or another. However, I would rather have less imagination and more hard data in putting it together.
Thanks in advance. Either PM me or send me an email to danut@danutgolf.com.
Thanks again,
Steve |

Try this site Steve, look at the courses for hole and also fly by of each hole and 360 of each hole. Good to have you designing courses and making libraries for the community.

ron

Thanks, guys. So far I had already found those sites as well. They are good, but I am hoping for much more. They help quite a bit with 2D work but not really with elevations. Just the same, thank you very much for those almost instant responses.
I would like to have some more please, sir . . . . . |

I used to play this course on sega when I was in college! You can actually download a sega emulator, however the graphics from back than are kind of horrible! |

I actually saw that on Sega - lol.
If anyone can help me figure out the actual hole layout I could actually start on this course. If not, then I will toss it for now. I can figure out the first 5 or so, but then the yardages and layout shapes on Google Earth don't seem to match up with anything from any of the sites, including the OEM site. And Googe Earth is the ONLY place that has even a half decent satellite shot.
Thanks to all who help and all who would like to but can't - lol.

"Don't know if you saw this or not.
" | Bobby, Bobby, Bobby. Can you give me the address to the site where you found that? That is exactly what I am looking for. My buddy is going to be surprised if I can actually get this course started. Me, too! :) |

Thanks for the interest, but no. I just could not get everything to match up well enough to proceed. |
