Started building some holes with course architect(with out the wizard) and so far so good, but, on some holes the trees do not show up in the overhead view, and when they do they are real tiny with no shadows. I make my trees 70 feet high. Am I optimizing to much? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. |

I use the click -click tool with plenty of trees surrounding the fairways. |

By the time you are done, they will begin showing up. Don't pay attention to it right now. |

Not sure if this is correct, but when I only have one hole on a 2000x2000 CA plot.Things don't show up right at first until you expand the course it seems. So I've been copying my fairway shape a few times or making circle shape that are pretty nice sized, and dropping them close to all four corners of the CA plot. This seem to help with the colors not messing all up until I expand the course more than one hole, but wait until someone with way more experience than I to tel you what really up. My problem might be because of using only one texture on the whole course.
Good luck Squirrely

Oh yeah, Not sure if you have seen this in tutorials...... You can expand your CA plot up & to the right, but can't expanded the CA plot down or to the left. Been told to leave 200 yards in from left & bottom, but I like to go 400 yards until i get comfortable with what the heck I'm doing.

As long as the tree's show up on your course, I wouldn't make to much of it. I don't think they all show up on my overheads either. |

This is my Manzanita Pass course, fully planted. I dont see many trees in the overhead either. So, not to worry, its an overhead map of the layout of the hole. |
