Hi, i've another question. ;) In any tutorials, i have see, that we can work with GhostIt or with TerrainAssistant to create the holes.
I'm not sure, with which methode i should start. I have a picture of a real course in Austria (from MS VirtualEarth) and i would like to create this course. |

As I have advised designers before, it is not a good idea to start out with a real course. These programs do help with the lay-out of the course, but you'll be completely confused by the rest of the work that goes into it, believe me. Start with a fictional design to leanr your way around the CA first. |

Hi, thanks for the replay. Well, so i start with a fictional place. In CA there is a Course Wizard. Does you recommend to use this wizard or is it better to learn this without the wizard? |

I want to do real course to one day too, and just started doing designs this last week, but I decided it was best for me if I did a fantasy course first so I could get familiar with what CA can do. Im doing all kinds of elevation work on the surroundings of the my first course, but not to much on the course playing surface itself. While doing this I have come across how some things are done by learning with trail & error. Sometimes I find a way to do something that is much easier or better looking, and then knock myself upside the head for not thinking of it sooner, but theres nothing like real experience with do something.
Good luck, and whatever you decide its all good, but Im more in line with what Jimi said.........

Darn, I missed your post.......hehehe
From what Ive read since being here. Its best not use course wizzard, and start with flat lands.
