For some reason the only Panorama that I can display in CA is the crappy example one.
I have imported and can see all the stock 2008 libaries, and they are listed as a panorama on on the Panorama properties list, but if I change to that panorama I get nothing.
I have tried installing a couple of dedicated panoramas like Pugatory Pano and can see it listed, but again will not display.

After you change to a custom pano, you must compile the course again, did you do that?

You can usually see custom panos in the CA camera if you tilt the camera up... The panos have to be set really high to appear proper in-game.
This assumes that when you say you can't see them, you're meaning you can't see them in the CA. |

Thanks for the replies, I am half way there. The camera indeed had to tilted way up to see the custom panorama. The CA still will not display any 2008 stock panoramas. although I believe this is a known issue.
After compiling, the panorama was still not displaying in game. I got suspicious and added some trees in stand out locations and after compiling and installing the course, no trees. It seems that compiling was not overwriting the original file. When I deleted and compiled again the course is fine, except it still will not display anything but a custom panorama. |

| You cannot use stock panos in 08 (or 07 for that matter.) They won't show in either CA or game. Install the stock pano you'd like to use in 06 to get it to show in the CA. Now first uninstall all versions of the course you have installed. Then recompile the course with the new stock pano and install in 08 as usual. Your pano should show. take care to only use custom panos that were made especially for 07 or 08, as earlier stock panos will have the same problem as the stock panos. |

If you are compiling in Vista it wont show a Pano...you need to compile in a version of XP for the course to show properly
