OK, I think this Caveland Valley thing is as ready as it can be. I would like to have it tested before uploading. Those who tested previously thanks much. I have worked hard to use your suggestions. Fedex and Munruco, I believe you offered previously, I would like to know what you think as fellow beginners. PM me with an email address and I will send via yousendit. Homeboy and other previous testers, I would like to have you compare to the previous version if you have time. I think you will be pleased.

I dont really design courses per say (;1 new course in the last 4 years), but here is my feedback from just looking at your picture. Please dont take this the wrong way, it is just my feedback on what I see. You have some nice elevation shifts going on. The biggest thing I see is the shaping is kind of sloppy. This is something that I feel is very important, in the picture I drew a cleaner copy of the green area, it took like 5 minutes. The green area is also built up like an ant hill. What you can do is raise that area up to be flat maybe 2 feet higher than the water area. Do this about 2 or 3 feet before the water edge line. Than smooth that part in to the rocks. Next you build up the green area however you want it. I dont like mis color fringes, it is not that hard to photo shop a green and fringe to match your fairway texture. You want the fringe to blend in to the fairway !!! Next is the shaping of the fairway around the island, this is something that is pretty easy to clean up we dont want weird movement in it. You also need to clean up the shaping of the green, the edges look a bit funny. As you can see in the two pictures mine has a lot cleaner of a look. I would also lose the rock in front of the green, maybe add them in to the end of the fairway or put them in to the hills outside the water area.

Than the planting is also something that you can maybe be more creative with. Using different sizes and so forth. Also not blending them in to the sides of the fairway, not in a straight line. Maybe curving them while giving the trees some depth. What I did in the picture was placed 3 trees behind the playing area around the green. Than created a little island in the water and added in some shrubs. Last off, I see is how you have the path to the green straight from the fairway view. I would curve this in to the green area from the side, it would give a better visual look in to the green area.
