After playing a round (of 80 :() on the course im building, the strokes/par course rating: is 1.15/4. Is this based on the rounds I play (only one round so far) or on something else?

Course ratings will tell something about the difficulty of a course. Hole length, slope etc....will determine the course rating of a course. Some more info on link below:

It probably for handicap players a course rating of 1.10 / +1 would take the SSS or Par of the course from 70 to 71 use handicaps can be set up via the cutom game icon |

On the courses in the game I doubt it really means anything though. More of a number just to make it look realistic.
(I think) |

(I think)" | In real golf it makes sense, in some countries i think this way of adjusting a players Handicap is Fair. Example: if a player played off a say? 12 handicap and the course he was playing was rated ?say 1.2 his handicap would be Multiplied by 1.2 , because probably of the Lenght and or the Difficulty of the course, making his Hancicap 12x1.2 = 14.4, then this is in The UK usually rounded up or down to the nearest even number, 14 , if it was 14.5 it would be 15. Thats the way the UK LGU used to work on Handicaps for club players. |
