Back in the days of TW99 and TW2001 when there used to be a course designer included, I dabbled around producing a fictitious course made up of a selection of my favourite holes from real courses. Due to the limitations of my (then) modest PC, I never got around to refining this (very amateurish) effort - the game ran too slowly in any case, even slower with the amount of detail I was attempting to include.

So to get to my point - what tool do all you talented designers use now, bearing mind there isn't one included in TW2008? I have finally upgraded to a PC system capable of running the game properly, and would like to resurrect my earlier project. Would the course designer from TW2001 produce a course that worked in TW2008? Any suggestions very welcome.

Then look through the Utilities section for the downloads. What operating system did you get with your system? If it's Vista, you'll need to set up a virtual machine, there is a tutorial for doing this. Read the CA06 manual and check out all the tutorials you can get your hands on here.
