Most, if not all, rock terrain textures look terrible. They have this patterned, tapestrylike look that is totally unrealistic. So I have been experimenting a bit with rock structures on my last course. I liked that so much that I decided to take it a bit further still. These are two low poly objects (;460 polys) that can be put all over the course. By scaling and rotating them you can avoid repetetiveness.
I might do a few more with different textures. |
