Working on a new course, and uncloaked a library. Went back to the architect, and the library wasn't listed after the thumbnails created.
deleted all swap files, checked utilities for both 06 and 08, the library was listed, and on the courses that it is used.
Searched computer for all copies of this library, and deleted. Downloaded the library, and tried to reinstall in 06 Utilities, and received the message ( you know the one ) library is already installed, and the contents appear different.
It installed fine on the TW caddy for 08.
It does show up on the properties for the courses it is used on, and the courses load and play fine.
I then uninstalled and reinstalled the 06 utilities, to no avail. same problemo.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks Joe

I am not sure, but it is possible sticky library......in Cloaking tool there is option: Fix sticky:
Fix sticky - This command enables you to clean your architect file from so called sticky libraries. Sticky libraries are libraries that you have used when you plant objects on your course. Even if you delete an object from the course, the CA will always remember the object, and sometimes issues warnings about missing libraries, even though the libraries are not referenced anymore. This can be especially annoying if the objects originate from custom libraries that you have uninstalled.
Open Cloaking tool......and on top choose: Projects Now in projects choose: New (; when your course is not yet listed in projects) browse to the course architect file.....and give project a name. When you dubble click on the project name you will see option: Fix sticky |

If there is a blank spot on the top of your library list in Course Utilities, click on that, uninstall the blank line, then try installing your library again. |

Hey Bobby
No blank spots.
Sure is a head scratcher.

You have another library installed in TW 06 with the same GUID but a different name. Try using CLSetup 2k6 to install the library it will tell you what library it is. |

Just an update..
I was able to finally install the library with Tru's help.
The problem was in the registery. It must have created a GUID for this library at one time, or over time with deleting said library, the GUID had no value.
I had around a half dozen or so with no value.
I deleted these, and YEAH! i was able to install.
Again, thanks Tru
