On a high altitude fairway, about 500 yards from the edge of the plot, I get a blurred, shaking double image of near-middle ground features. What causes this, and can it be corrected? (tia) -- Mark

i think youre talking about the radioactive barrier designed to keep the riff-raff out
- you are likely seeing a texture called: HIG_Bowl.tga
its a file included in the LC (;library creator) when making a pano

its to bridge the gap between the pano and the course perimeter

most architects trim the perimeter, but usually as one of the last steps as once its trimmed it limits other changes, corrections you might want to make (;i think)

jump in here designers :)

you have no control over the height of the pano library itself, thats set when its created

designers may have some ideas as to how you could trim your perimeter to minimize the radioactivity

Oh, I am only half way through this design, I have not defined the perimiter yet. I'll try that, thanks!

You can add some rolling hills along the edge of the plot to hide the bottom of the pano. I remember I had to do that a lot on my Sakurajima course -- ranging from 30 to 60 feet tall. Make sure you wait until the very end of the design process to set your course perimeter.

This can also be caused by not having a pano at all or using a stock pano.
