Apart from ensuring the hole graphic on the right is shown properly, what else is the shot path good for. I remember from using Jack Nicklaus designer a long time ago that the way the golfer faced on the tee was determined by the first shot path. I'm not sure TW works in the same way.

According to the CA06 manual, the shot paths affect the AI players shot choice. Actually testing a round against AI is a good way to determine if your paths make sense. Shot paths also affect E key aiming for your player. Also, the first point on the tee will be the position of your golfer on the tee. Try to center the point, so that players will be able to adjust Tee Position effectively during game play. Distance to green also affect par for the hole. If you want a par 3, the disance from the back tee to the hole must be less than 240 yards. |

You can have your par 3 as long as you like, 300+ yards, but you have to make sure your shot path stops short of the 240 yds mark |

Thanks, didn't realise the first point was on the tee, maybe this is why my hole graphic is out of kilter.
