Just my thoughts.

I just don't understand why some won't have their courses tested!

There are plenty of good folks out their, that would be glad to test a course..

Let's get real, people, don't you want your course to be the best that you can make it.

Sure, some may not like it, that's not the point of testing.

Have it tested to make sure it is playable, and so you can take out all the imperfections that you can.

It may not end up being a 4star course, but I guarantee that if you have it tested by a couple of people, then you can feel like you did the best you could. There is no worse feeling then not having your course tested, then having to put out a V2.. I should know, I am guilty of it ONCE before, never again.

So I don't fault someone for trying to go it alone, but there are so many things that you can miss, is it really worth the chance?

I will never put a course out their that hasn't been tested, may not be the best course, but at least I know I tried to cover all bases.

We all make courses for the community to enjoy, let's make sure we did everything we could think of to make it enjoyable.

We will never be perfect, but how else do we learn?

Thanks for letting me give my opinion, and pm me if I can help out..

Larry

Well said Larry.

Anyone that needs an extra set of eyes, I'd be more than glad to have a look.
(Not that I'm an expert at course design by any means).

Same here, I've never turned down a request to test.

I've just finished draft of my first course, still a fair bit of work to do like footpaths and stuff, but I'd love to have some HONEST opinions on it. If it's crap I want to know. Anyone who would be willing to help me out, let me know how to go about sending you my course.

Cheers
