hey everyone:
I was reading the tutorial for making logos and splashscreens and its written for using Photoshop. Does Paint.net have and alpha channel or does it do it a different way? I'm not familiar with Paint.net totally but its all I have except for Windows paint, which I know isnt worth a hoot. Would appreciate any help here. Have my course nearly ready to go and need to get the logo and splashscreen done. The text is easy enough. Thanks all. I do have the photos for the logo and splashscreen if it is easier another way.

one other thing I could use. I was playing Riviera the other day and saw a really nice fountain on that course and danged if I cant find a decent fountain anywhere. Anyone know of a library that has fountains in it? The one titled "fountain" is a drinking fountain. Thanks for any input on this one.

paint.net supports alpha channels. Do not know the steps to create them with that app though. I am a Photoshop user. There should be something in the help file or I am sure something can come up with a google search.
Fountains are done by scripting the CLS. Hiker Bob has a great tutorial on it. |

I will have to see if he have that particular tutorial on the site. You can look in the Utilities area. There are a lot of CA tutorials in that area. |

i found it under hiker bob tutorials with the search engine. Just not a member of that certain club to read it. sheesh. Damn near have this course ready to release and I cant figure out how to make a stupid logo or splashscreen with paint.net. I have the templates but dont know how to groom the pics into them. I can get by this time without a fountain, just thought it would be nice to have, but i do need the others since theyre must haves for uploads. |
