Hey y'all...
Yep, another newbie to CA. I have read and listened to just about every tutorial i can find.
Good job by the way.
But I would like to ask the pros what libraries, etc. are the best for a rookie to use 08. There are SO MANY....
...Or just what are some of the favorites...

designers choice
try finding a course you like, without too many libraries, and mostly 07 and 08 ones
(except the perennial faves - judds wall, ts n stakes etc)
use those to get a feel for it |

| There is a problem with the older structure libraries in the CA, including the stock structures (buildings, miscellaneous structures etc.) in TW08, in that they don't show right unless you set your shader settings to "low". This takes away from other visual aspects of the game. We designers have discovered that we can make structures that show up perfectly in the game by using the CA from the 02 version of the game, with some tweaking. So for structures, like clubhouses and stuff, you'd be better off using a library that's been made during the last year or so. First 02CA lib I made was for the PGAX Waialea course, that was published December 2007. Fortunately this site provides pictures of the libraries, so you can see what's in them before you download them. If you are looking for something specific, it might take some browsing. |

pebble beach (2006) is the default library used by the CA - best to leave that one uncloaked |
