| After finally being able to install all my 08 custom courses, I noticed I had a considerable amount of jaggedness around tree trunks, bunkers and various other terrain. When I was running XP 32bit using my Nvidia 7950 GT card, I could smoothen all that out with an 8x AA setting.Now that I am running dual Geforce 9800 GTX cards, I have set the AA from Application Controlled all the way to 16xQ and it does absolutely nothing in smoothening out the edges. Is there a fix for this that I am unaware of? I would be interested in knowing what settings any of you Vista users are using in the TW08 game for the best possible results. |

| open the nVidia control panel,manage 3D settings,program settings tab,from the dropdown box select TW08,then change the settings on the right handside,I dont know why the global settings page does not work to set AA but the program settings page worked for me. |

Thanks for this tip Carnoustie, using the programs settings page seemed to improve the AA issue in TW08. For some reason it did little for my Links 2003 game however. Although the Links game never provided for an AA setting, I was always able to force AA into the Links courses because I have always had Nvidia graphic cards. With my older cards a setting of 8x would always smoothen bunker edges and other terrain lines in those courses. With my new setup however, any AA settings using the program settings page for Links seems to have little or no effect on the courses. |
