I've done a search on this topic, and I think the most recent post I saw was from May of this year. I was curious to know if it is yet possible to compile a course in Vista. I've read on here too that if you can't compile with Vista, you can compile with XP (say maybe on my laptop that runs XP) then transfer that file back to Vista (my desktop) and play the course or continue to design. I'm sure that's made easy by using your computer's networking capabilities. One more thing...when you do compile a course in the CA, what is the destination folder that the compile file (.tcr?) is saved to? Thank you for all and any answers.

yes - need to compile in XP, whether you transfer the tca file to a different PC on network, flash drive etc, or dual boot
compiled tcr file is saved to the same location as the tca file |

I guess I answered my own question before I got a response from you! Thanks for the reply though. I tried to compile the course in Vista, and it seemed to do it fine. Then I used the Caddie to install the .tcr file into the game, and about halfway through loading the course in the game, it crashed. So I put TW06 on my laptop, running XP, downloaded the CA, transfered my .tca file from my desktop to my laptop, compiled the course through the CA on my laptop, transfered it back to the desktop and re-uploaded it through the Caddie, and it works perfectly! I can't wait to do more work on this course now!
