I have been gone for a couple of weeks but I must say that this last week in particular produced some outstanding course designs. I had made mention in a post some time ago that I wished that the designers would make all their new designs gallery friendly and let the downloader decide wether he or she wants to introduce them into the course. Unfortunately none of the recent designs had gallery provisions included in their designs. I for one would really be very appreciative if you would provide us with the opportunity to use 08 stock cls files to apply galleries to your designs.

why not just copy a stock CLS folder over?

or use one of the CLS files Wizards uploaded in April?

Copying 08 stock cls folders over works without a problem and that is what I always do to get galleries. I was under the impression however and was told by wizards that in order for the stock cls's to work in custom designs the galleries must be allocated when the course is in the designing process or the stock cls files will not work.

You are correct Jurgie, the galleries must be planted by the designer. No cls or TL folder will make an ounce of difference if they haven't planted galleries onto the plot. Personally, I like loading up all courses that I work on with tons of galleries (as can be experienced at TPC Deere Run and most other PGAX courses) as it does help to give that tournament atmosphere, especially as we (PGAX) also make it possible for galleries to actually stand in our structures.
