There have been some new courses submitted latetly, that at the outset appear as really good courses but are handicapped with a few unplayable greens on very dry conditions ie way to much slope.

I would suggest that when testing your courses that they be tested on very dry conditions to make sure that the greens are fair and playable.

A great number of players play at the expert level and very dry conditions and if you want your courses to be noticed by these players then more attention should be given to the greens.

Nothing gets a course quicker to the recycle bin than a course with greens that have roll back or continuous roll off.
