A few places still have TW09 listed for preorder (NewEgg, Target, Amazon), but the more important one that does not have it listed for preorder is the EA Store. They have every other version except the PC version listed. There have also been 2 online articles I have seen over the weekend that specifically state that a PC version is not coming. I think the writing is on the wall for TW09 for the PC.
Enjoy TW08 because it is going to have to carry you through 09 and possibly longer. We here at Course Source will continue to support the game and I know many architects will continue to put out new courses for it. |

Maybe, hopefully, the game is still in development?

All of this came out over a month ago, but there are still some people holding on to the hope that behind closed doors EA is secretly putting together a TW09 game for the PC and they are going to surprise us with it. The fact is that EA does not operate that way and there is not going to be a game. It has been documented in the links above, including posts directly from people with EA stating there will not be a TW09. As we stated before, this site and others within the TW community will do everything we can to keep the game alive and make it enjoyable for hopefully years to come. No one knows how long the EASO servers are going to stay online. No one knows if EA will change their mind in the future and bring back the PC version. The one thing we do know for a fact is that TW09 is not coming out for the PC. |
