Hiya ......
It is very easy to add birds....bees....squirrels.......and even to add the EA sports blimp in your course.
You can find all eye candy for course in folder: CLS
(CLS = course life system)
When you go to courses folder of TW08 game:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses
Inside course folder you will find all courses folders you installed.
For example look in all stock course folders : PBL.....SAW....BOS etc.........
Now inside each stock course folder you will find folder: CLS
Inside CLS folder all eye candy is included.
Choose one of the stock courses......for example stock course: Harbour town , look for folder: HAR..........and inside right click CLS folder and choose copy.
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\HAR\cls
Now in TW08 courses folder look for any installed custom course where you want to add birds etc........
Dubble click the custom course folder and inside paste the CLS folder of stock course: HAR
Now start TW08 game and play the custom course.
Now you will see birds....and you will also see the EA sports blimp in the custom course......
Note: It is random when you play course....sometimes you will see blimp on hole 1.......other time you will see it on hole 12.....etc....
So it is possibble you will have to play some holes.

The problem is you don t know what eye candy is inside the CLS folders, you can only see what is inside when you play the course.
All stock courses have CLS folders....but they are all different so you have to paste each of them in your course.....and try out which CLS you like.
How can you add CLS folder in your new course before you upload, so that all people can see the eye candy when they download your course:
You will have to add CLS folder of a stock course, so now you will have 1 folder with inside:
Logo+splash+flag+text+course file+CLS folder
When you did.......zip the folder.......and it is ready for upload to coursedownloads.
And you can also try to install this zip file in TW08 game with TW Caddie 08. ( good idea to try it before you upload ) |
