First I want to say great job on the new installer.

My question is this: Is this something that designers can use? As you know, you must install the course you are designing over and over, I tried to do that, but it says I already have that course installed, and must uninstall it to install a new version.

Im ok with using CU for designing, but If I can use the new installer I would love to.

Any help would be appreciated, and my apologies if this has already been gone over..

Again, super job on the new installer, I really like it..

PEACE

Used the new installer for one course, and found it to be not as easy as the clsetup? reason?. you have to install libs as a seperate item, whereas with the clsetup highlight them all and ,they go in 1 by 1.So imho will not be using in future?

I understand what your saying you can select multiple Libraries within the file browser. I will be adding this feature back into the program. It was in there, but for some reason I took it out.

Thanks for that explanation. I too was wondering why I was unable to batch load libraries into the program instead of having to loading them one at a time. I use the right click on the file and open with method and that works just fine.

In the mean time you can compress all the files into a zip file and install them that way....I really am sorry I used that same feature which surprises me that I missed it.

Heres the easy way for designers....Install your course and go to Course Properties and change the location of the TCR file to the new file created by the CA, since the GUID of the course has not changed this is whay I did and works awesome.

So TruBlu, when you are designing and you use the new installer, does it remove your logo and text everytime you uninstall and reinstall?

Than seems to be happening to me..

Also, when I installed the TW Caddie, I just opend the zip file and cliked on Setup, but I noticed their is another file called TW Caddie, should I clik and select run for that one to? Or is setup the only one I needed.

Thanks for helping this unfortunate soul...

The setup file points to the msi file....you can install it with either but I dont think the MSI installer searches for required files.

And no since I have it pointed to the tcr file that the CA creates, everytime I compile the course its already installed since it overwrites the old version of the file.
